Interview

One day in the library

The librarian of our institution well known as "Albita" told us about how usually are her days at the library, as many see it as a somewhat boring and pointless site, which only consists of reading books and not visited for anyone, and although this unfortunately has some truth and has lost the essence of that wonderful place where we find new worlds with the act of opening a book, in this article we will try to rescue a little magic of this beautiful place. Then you will see what normally happens in a day in the library
First comes Albita with her literacy teachers at nine o'clock, she assigned each activity which is normally organize books or new collections that differ by area. She sits down on her place, turn on her computer and check the mail to check whether the Education Ministry has sent a request
A day arrive roughly 100 students counting the young people who are in break time, and those in class (usually in the course of Spanish) reach the so-called "Hours reading" or in the two days of the day . Therefore they are 500 students on average a week visiting the library.
The busiest days for her are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday serving both teachers and students in their support for the culture of reading. Each year they purchase books to have new material and work with students.

Finally we want to give a sincere thank to Albita for her hard work in the institution, for its dedication and love for what she does.

Editorial

Are the teachers really fair about the notes?

In our institution in recent weeks have reported to us about our failures academies, called "academic alerts", these are important especially for parents, teachers and especially students. They are presented according to the notes you have taken the course of the period added up and divided by the number of themselves, the minimum score must reach is 2.1, but if the average is less than this result means is wrong their academic performance and improvement.
But all is not as good as it looks, because sometimes teachers are not just with notes and do not reflect the true development of the subject as recognition of the efforts of the student. This happens when the notes added together and divided by the master of the institution show bad marks on your profile.
When there is a relationship as hierarchical power in the institution it is difficult for students to spend the time and claim their rights as students believing that challenge the authorities will bring even more serious consequences in their academic year and most teachers do not have the initiative ask your students about the concerns they have towards these averages because the master or the fact distracted when riding the notes to the page.
I look at this situation and shows that we must move much more communication with teachers and this brings great consequences not only in student sphere but also in family and social

Many students are unhappy with this situation because they do not agree on their ratings or to know that these are not their real notes. We need to find more solutions regarding these problems presented may not only with the master but also with teachers.
